I ordered from Scott last summer. I was in desperate need of a pair of solid (non-eyelet style) plugs due to my employer's new jewelry policy. I could not find 1&7/16" ANYWHERE at that time (this was before I discovered the MM jewelry section.) So, I figured I'd give it a shot. As far as his customer service; top notch. I paid with PayPal, and a week later still had no plugs. I emailed Scott, and he assured me they were well on their way and had shipped the day after I paid. A few more days went by, and still no plugs. I was beginning to panic as my boss was getting impatient with my non-conformance to the new policy. My emails to Scott began to show my desperation. However, he was very professional. He even sent out another pair at no charge what-so-ever. I received the second pair within three days. A week after that, my neighbor brought me the "lost" first pair. Apparently my local carrier, all too often, has problems reading numbers and delivered them a few apartments down. I contacted Scott, and he insisted I simply keep both pair. What a nice guy! Now, the quality of the jewelry was slightly disappointing as the bone inlay was cracked on one plug from each pair. Also, the inlay itself wasn't set quite as nicely as I would have expected. All around, my "Holes in the Body" experience went very well. I would even consider using them again. However, as someone already mentioned, Omerica does supply a lot of their jewelry. So, why not just order from Omerica and cut out the middle-man?

I purchased an order from Holes In The Body a while back. For one I can say that they had decently fast shipping and good service. Only problem is that they buy from Omerica Organic which a lot of the times use bad woods (I've now come to figure out). They've in the past used woods that are known to be bad for your body or partial to reaction. Lately their list has really cleaned up but you still see a lot of "custom woods" in the Holes In The Body store. I received my plugs and they were beautiful, looked very good. I put them in and went to bed. In the morning i woke up with red, swollen, and busted open lobes, I could barely get the plugs out, I then just left them out so they would heal. They just about ruined what I had worked on for years. I found out later it was a bad wood to put in my body and it had an allergic reaction to it. SO, besides Holes In The Body not knowing much about wood allergies, and having Horrible stretching information next to all their plugs. I think they could be a very good company provided they could get smarter on what they do. Like I said, most of their stuff is quality made, just not out of good wood (Omerica's fault).

I am very very impressed with Holes In The Body. Customer care has been excellent and there are a huge variety of products available for a number of different gauge sizes and responsible advice on how to go about using stretching jewelry. My particular favorite is organic jewelry which is very hard to find if you're not buying whole sale and is often extremely overpriced. Holes In The Body is the only online store, or otherwise that I have found to satisfy all my customer needs and they will have my custom for life. Thank you Holes In The Body.

I have been dealing with Holes for over 6 months, have bought over 20 items from the site and have been impressed with both the quality of product and service. I work within the body piercing industry, so I know quality when I see it. The site, which is super-easy to navigate, offers a huge range of plugs, talons and so on, and there're always new items arriving: the new range of wood tunnels and plugs, for example, is stunning and very reasonably priced; I am the proud owner of several pairs of beautifully finished pieces. Customer service/communication is excellent, with personal emails promptly confirming orders and dates of shipping. As I live in Australia and Holes operates out of Texas, the usual time from ordering to wearing the jewelry is 7-8 days: phenomenal! Items are securely packaged and labels type-written so there can be no confusion over destination. If you are after quality, unique pieces, a great range, and excellent service, then this is the site for you!
