I have purchased one pair of green niobium 10 gauge Captive Bead Rings from Skin Deep and was very impressed with the company. Having such low prices, I suspected that the customer service or the quality of the jewelry might not be up to par, but I was wrong on both counts. The jewelry that I ordered was from the sale page, and after I placed my order, I received notification from Skin Deep that they only had one green 10 gauge CBR left, not a matching pair. They suggested a pair in another color, which was fine with me. A short while later, I received notice again that they did in fact have the pair in green, so I switched back to my original order. All of this took place very quickly, and I received my order in a very decent amount of time. They also sent a free Skin Deep T-shirt as compensation for the mix-up, which was totally unexpected and not really necessary since I hadn't been inconvenienced all that much. I certainly appreciated it though it proved to me that the company is truly dedicated to customer service. The jewelry itself is as nicely made as anything I've gotten anywhere else, without any obvious nicks or scratches, and the beads have nice big indentations so that they're easy to remove and insert. Also, the color has remained bright, and hasn't faded or worn off at all, despite the fact that I've had the rings for several years now. I highly recommend this company, and plan to order from them again in the future.

The first jewelry I ever ordered came from Skin Deep, a couple of years ago. Their CBRs were some of the cheapest I had found, and I wanted something inexpensive for stretching. I emailed them and they were fine with me sending a money order through the mail (no credit card at the time), so I sent a money order and my order form. They emailed me when they received it, and when they filled the order (within a day or two). They gave me all sorts of contact information for questions, complaints, etc. They were exceedingly personable. My jewelry arrived within a week of when I mailed my order, and the jewelry was in great condition. Skin Deep doesn't have the rounded ends on its CBRs like I prefer now, but the surface was well-polished and without any noticeable flaws, and the pieces were well-made. I think I got at least what I paid for, maybe more, and I would recommend them to friends looking for a good deal on CBRs.
